SUMMARY:Growing Communities of Mutual Support – A Microsolidarity Practice Journey
DESCRIPTION:Growing Communities of Mutual Support – A Microsolidarity Practice Journey\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA collaboration between The Garden and the Church of Interbeing. \n📅 6 in-person sessions: Tuesdays\, 21 October – 25 November 2025\, 7–9 pm\, at the Gemeindesaal\, Berlin-Neukölln\, plus an online community space for further practice and materials. \nRegister here \n🧭 Overview\nWe are living in a time of overlapping crises – climate collapse\, social polarisation and a growing epidemic of loneliness and depression. In the face of current challenges\, Margaret Wheatley reminds us: “Whatever the problem\, community is the answer.” But how do we actually build community – real\, nourishing\, resilient community – in our daily lives? This question is the starting point of our inquiry in the Growing Communities of Mutual Support workshop series. \nThe series is for anyone who longs for deeper connection\, more meaningful support\, and the kind of shared growth that happens when we truly show up for each other. Whether you’re looking to strengthen existing relationships or plant new seeds of belonging\, this series will offer you useful tools\, real-life practice and a community to grow with. \n🌾 What to Expect\nOver six weeks\, on Tuesday evenings\, we’ll gather in person to explore the art of building community through mutual support – drawing from Microsolidarity\, Internal Family Systems\, Nonviolent Communication\, Theory U\, The Art of Hosting and more. \nThrough interactive\, small group practice\, self-reflection and whole-group exchange\, we’ll explore: \n\n\nHow to create welcoming group spaces rooted in trust and belonging \n\n\nHow to surface opportunities to help each other grow \n\n\nWhat brings out our pro-social tendencies\, like helpfulness and care \n\n\nHow to take these practices into our life\, work and neighbourhoods \n\n\nIn addition to the in-person meetings\, you’ll get access to an online space for access to resources and staying in touch between sessions. \n🌟 What You’ll Learn\nBy the end of the journey\, you will have: \n\n\nPractised diverse formats for mutual support and community-building \n\n\nStrengthened your capacity for deep listening and authentic sharing \n\n\nLearned to clarify your needs and gifts\, making it easier to give and receive help \n\n\nExperienced what it feels like to belong to a supportive community \n\n\nGained tools to seed communities based on trust and care in your own contexts \n\n\nUltimately\, this series is not just about learning new methods\, it’s about experiencing and co-creating the kind of communities we long for\, and the confidence to create such communities wherever you go. \n👥 Your Hosts: Nicki & Jocelyn Endres\nNicki and Jocelyn are experienced facilitators and community builders who have spent the last ten years designing and hosting spaces for mutual support\, collective learning\, and regenerative collaboration. As stewards of The Garden (Nicki) and lead organiser within the Microsolidarity Network (Jocelyn)\, they’ve helped shape co-living experiments\, peer-support crews\, and gatherings across Europe. Drawing on their backgrounds in psychology\, Nonviolent Communication\, systems thinking\, permaculture and spiritual traditions\, they bring a lot of experience and a deep commitment to growing cultures of trust\, care\, and belonging. \nWhile the journey is facilitated by Nicki and Jocelyn\, this series is a co-creative inquiry in which we are all participant-researchers\, at the same time being teacher and student. \nRegister here

SUMMARY:Ship It Day - Getting Things Done Together
DESCRIPTION:Start your week with focus\, momentum\, and mutual encouragement. As part of Mutual Support Month\, Ship It Days will take place every Monday in August\, 9:00–12:00 CEST. \nShip It Days are simple: come together\, set your intentions\, and get things done. You’re invited to bring whatever you want to “ship” – whether it’s a task you’ve been putting off\, a project that’s nearly ready to launch\, or simply something that needs your focused attention. \nWe’ll start each session by checking in and sharing what we’re working on\, then dive into focused work\, taking breaks for encouragement\, support\, or a bit of advice if needed. At the end\, we come back together to share and celebrate what we’ve accomplished. \nIt’s often surprising how much more productive (and enjoyable) it is to work alongside others\, even virtually. Ship It Days are all about gentle accountability\, mutual cheerleading\, and starting the week with forward motion and a sense of accomplishment. \nCome along and let’s grow and ship together! \nRegister here: https://lu.ma/sb1fw5iq

SUMMARY:Mutual Support - Sharing Needs & Gifts
DESCRIPTION:A practical session on giving and receiving support \nMany of us long for a shift towards an age of abundance. But what if we’re already living in abundance and simply need to learn to see it? Each of us has wants and needs\, and each of us has gifts to offer. When we begin to freely exchange them\, abundance becomes real. \nThis workshop is a participatory inquiry into three guiding questions: \n\nHow can we become more aware of our needs and gifts?\nHow can we share and exchange them with one another?\nHow can we create structures that enable ongoing mutual support and care?\n\nWe’ll explore these questions together through a mix of dialogue\, structured journaling and mutual support practices. \nThe energy exchange for this workshop is (of course) give-what-feels-right. \nRegister here: https://lu.ma/lbq1a098 \nLet’s live in abundance – right here\, right now 🌱

SUMMARY:The Art & Science of the Weekly Review - a weekly ritual to bring clarity and calm into your work and life
DESCRIPTION:In a world of constant input and infinite projects and to-dos\, it’s easy to feel scattered or overwhelmed. If we want to bring our gifts into the world and move towards a more beautiful future\, we don’t just need spiritual or relational work — we also need practices that support clarity\, consistency and efficiency. The weekly review is one of those practices. \nIt’s a simple ritual that helps us integrate the past\, clear our mental and emotional clutter and reconnect to what truly matters. Best practiced at the end of the week\, it supports both productivity and peace of mind — so we can enter the weekend relaxed and begin the new week with a clear intention. \nIn this workshop\, co-hosted with Ivan Gonzalez\, we’ll explore the why and how of the weekly review. You’ll learn best practices drawn from tried-and-tested methods\, reflect on your own working patterns and craft a weekly review process that truly works for you. \nWhether you’re craving more focus\, structure\, or simply a fresh start — this session is a great entry point. It also kicks off our shared practice of weekly reviews in the weeks ahead. \nYou’ll leave with a clearer mind\, a sense of completion\, a personal review process and hopefully… a more relaxed weekend 🙂 \nThis is a donation-based event and you’ll get the zoom link in the confirmation email once you register. \nRegister here.

SUMMARY:Whatever the problem\, community is the answer - An introduction to community-building with Microsolidarity
DESCRIPTION:In the face of today’s overlapping crises\, e.g. the climate emergency\, social fragmentation and a widespread sense of disconnection\, the need for community is greater than ever. But how do we actually build community? How do we create spaces where people feel safe\, seen and supported? How do we cultivate groups that are resilient\, regenerative and real? \nIn this two-hour workshop\, we’ll explore these questions through the lens of Microsolidarity—a framework for building small mutual aid communities rooted in trust\, care and belonging. \nAfter a short introductory talk we’ll move into guided practices to cultivate wholesome spaces—within ourselves\, in pairs\, and in small groups. \nWhether you’re already building community\, longing for more connection\, or simply curious\, you’re warmly invited to join. \nThis is a donation-based event and you’ll get the zoom link in the confirmation email once you register. \nRegister here.

SUMMARY:Intro to parts work with IFS - Exploring our inner landscape with Internal Family Systems - 04.12.24.
DESCRIPTION:Intro to parts work with IFS – Exploring our inner landscape with Internal Family Systems \nIFS is hot right now in therapeutic contexts. And for good reason. It is a beautiful approach that allows us to get to know our inner world in a compassionate\, non-judgemental and intuitive way. By learning to engage with our inner parts – different sub-personalities within us – and connecting with our SELF – a state characterised by curiosity\, compassion and connectedness – we can clarify our inner landscape and help our parts relax and heal. \nIn the workshop we will learn some basic IFS theory\, get to know some of our parts and get in touch with our SELF – and hopefully have some fun. \nHere’s how a past participant described her experience in the workshop:\n“The atmosphere in the small group was very empathetic and pleasant. I was actually able to gain some new insights that evening and now understand my inner conflicts better. IFS seems to me to be a really transformative method – I am very excited to continue applying what I have learnt!” – Amelie \nDetails: \nWhen: Thursday 04.12.24. – 19-21h \nWhere: Imago Space\, Glogauer Str. 21\, 10999 Berlin\, first courtyard\, door on the right\, 1st floor\, ring bell. IFS seems to me to be a really transformative method – I am very excited to continue applying what I have learnt!” – Amelie \nDetails: \nWhen: Thursday 21.11.24. – 19-21h \nWhere: Imago Space\, Glogauer Str. 21\, 10999 Berlin\, first courtyard\, door on the right\, 1st floor\, ring bell. If nobody answers give me a ring on +491772167878 \nFacilitator: Nicki Endres

DESCRIPTION:Unfortunately\, I am ill and have to cancel the workshop \nJoin us for another round of “Befriending Gravity\,” an evening session where we’ll delve into the fundamentals of Qigong\, a meditative movement practice rooted in Daoist philosophy. \nWe will practice key exercises that balance strength and flexibility while deepening our awareness for the natural flow of energy in our body following the Daoist ideals of naturalness\, authenticity and presence. SUMMARY:Whatever the Question\, Community is the Answer! - A microsolidarity community-building workshop
DESCRIPTION:Whatever the Question\, Community is the Answer! \nHow can we create wholesome group spaces? How can we support and care for each other? How can we build sustainable communities? \nThese and other questions will guide us in this 2-hour workshop exploring the theory and practice of community-building using Microsolidarity. \nThe aim of Microsolidarity is to create small mutual aid communities that enable trust\, connection\, support and care\, being seen\, authentic feedback and a sense of intimacy and belonging. \nIn an introductory talk we will give a bit of background on the underlying principles and share some of our own experiences with the framework. After that we will practice creating wholesome spaces within ourselves\, in dialogue with a partner and in small groups. So if you are building community or are in need of community\, come along! \nIf you want to take part\, sign up here.
